Children made St Brigid’s Crosses to celebrate the feast of St Brigid on 1st February. The crosses were blessed at the St. Brigid’s Day Mass in Lacken Church.
Our successful debating team who are in to the semi final of the Concern Primary School Debating Competition which is running in the Kildare/West Wicklow area.

Ms Vaughan’s 5th & 6th class made use of the school kitchen to make some festive cupcakes and brownies
The children were yet again delighted to get a visit from the Wicklow Mountain National Park. Ms McNulty’s class learned all about bugs. Ms McMahon’s room learned about Irish Wildflowers and Ms Vaughan’s room learned about irish mammals.
Ms Vaughan’s class used clay pinch pot skills to create clay monsters and they painted them when they were dry.
Ms Vaughan’s class used the brand new school kitchen to make their Creepy Crispie Cakes. They were delicious!
